Final Pieces

Final Life Drawing

The Form and posture of this image is well thought out, although some explanatory lines have been added to show what the posture is meant to be.

A small problem with line Definition has occurred, however shading has helped offset this quite nicely.

Another problem is missing lines in the Right Arm, and caused by objects being in the way.

Final Landscape

The landscape shown has a well defined sense of Foreground, Midground and Background

Use of different brush strokes is seen in some regard across the entire image, with small crosshatching in the shading on one of the trees in the foreground, to solid lines to define straight edges.

More Detail could be used in the foreground, as it appears just as white space for the most part.

Final Still Life

This image shows conkers done in Chalk.

The best parts about this image come from the fact that it was drawn on black paper, allowing highlights to become more focused and detailed, being added to the image rather than using negative space upon which most images create highlights.

Improvements most needed are firstly that context would be useful, as the objects are floating. secondly, they all seem to be kissing, even if they are supposed to be leaning against each other, the final image feels rather flat because of it.

Still Life 2

The Rear end of this Partially Constructed motorbike is fine. The Front wheel however is about 35% smaller than it should be.

The Rest of the bike, however, shows good understanding of unusual angles, from the fact tha it is composed in such a way to show part of the top while still employing all areas.

Lack of shadow and shading makes definition hard to make out.

Still Life 1

While unfinished, the form drawn out hints at an understanding of rigid form shapes within complex curves the fact it is a rigid controller with a shadow.

Life Drawing 2

(Picture of my infant Nephew)

Babies are a most interesting study.

Proportion is warped greatly, leading to some quite strange interactions. the blanket covering him is too much, so that form is hard to make out.

Life Drawing 1

Here, the biggest fault lays in the missing lines. Hands being the most noticeable, but there are others, such as on the side of the head.

The Shoulders work reasonably well, although appear too broad when compared with the wrists.

Form of muscle is well defined, although shading could do with more definition when digitized (too pale for scanner, even with corrected change)
